Engineer Wiring

NCS is on the lookout for skilled Wiring Engineers with experience working on National Grid projects. If you have a background in wiring and hold an NG Persons certification, we want to hear from you.

Role Overview:

As a Wiring Engineer, you will be integral to ensuring the safe and efficient installation and maintenance of electrical systems within National Grid substations. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Installing and maintaining wiring systems in accordance with National Grid standards
• Ensuring all wiring tasks comply with safety regulations and protocols
• Assisting with the planning and execution of electrical projects on-site
• Collaborating with site supervisors and other team members to achieve project goals
• Conducting inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
• Documenting and reporting on project progress and any issues encountered

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• NG PERSONS certification
• Proven experience working on National Grid substations
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring systems and standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues

Job Details:

• Rate: Negotiable (DOE)
• Hours: 50+ hours per week
